If I plug my cable box into my dell flat screen monitor (which has a ton of ports) will it work?

if it's a tv-monitor it should work, but if you have a media center pc i suggest you hook it up to your pc so you can use your flat screen for both tv and computer stuff at the same time (like i do):)
plus you can record your tv shows, too (save in your hard drive) but you can't do that if you connect the cable directly to the flat screen.

i think it could cuz isnt a flatscreen a tv or almost like one
