The website below lets you search every wedding package in Vegas by cost and theme/traditional ceremony. Prices start at $25 for a drive-through and go up to $20,000+, but if you spend $200 or more you will have a lot of choice.

Also, allow $55 for the marriage licence, $50 ministers fee, $50 photographers fee and $20 for the limo drivers tip (if a limo is included in your package).

If you're looking for an independent chapel, Little Chapel of the Flowers, Graceland Wedding Chapel and Little Church of the West are pretty and the staff are very helpful. Most of the hotels also have lovely wedding facilities but the cost tends to be higher.

I've also included a link for the restaurants in Vegas offering fixed price menus for large parties - which is useful for budgeting if you're also having a reception there.

Good luck!

My husband and I just got married in Vegas and we loved it!!!

We did everything on a 1500 dollar budget, but that's the minimum amount- don't go less than that.

The cost of the wedding itself...

55 for the marriage license

10 for the certified copy of the wedding certificate (you purchase that later)

40 for the minister gratuity (no matter how much you pay for the chapel, wherever you go)

We paid 115 for a chapel (Chapel of the Bells). It was for the basic ceremony without extra rentals, no photographer. The extras add up quick, so we avoided all of them. Little White Chapel has an even cheaper wedding for 40 or 50, but I don't think their econochapel is a pretty as chapel of the bells. This chapel is much prettier in person than it is in the website pictures. BTW, the "house" minister is a very old woman and it costs extra for a male minister. I was pleased with her service, although it was very Christian. (I'm not particularly religious) Always remember the 40 dollar gratuity on top of the chapel wedding fee.

We had a 50 dollar per dinner budget for two, and that was tough. A couple really needs 100 per dinner, 50 per lunch and 50 for bfast and snacks.

A Vegas air/hotel package is the way to go- much cheaper than buying seperately. The two best sites in my opinion to find these deals are Vegas.com and Bestfares.com (or bestfare.com) For M-F we spent slightly over 800 including tax. That was for the nicest place downtown (Golden Nugget) and we rented a car for those five days for around 100 total at US Rent-a-Car

Renting a car is necessary if they stay downtown, on the north end of strip, or on the south end of the strip. Staying in the central strip is the only place where they wouldn't need to rent a car. Be sure to look at a Vegas map of the strip- there are many online. Parking is free and easy to find in the hotel garages and valet park is free, but it's nice to give the guy a two dollar tip when he brings around your car. We parked valet once each day. Also allow for three dollars each morning to leave the room attendant- this makes a difference in the hotel stay.

Vegas is always more expensive if you stay over a weekend, but still the cheapest time to go to Vegas that I have seen is the first week in December. You can get a fabulous strip hotel package for less than 1000 for four nights during the week.

Something else you must give them is money to see a Cirque du Soleil show. They is over 100 dollars per ticket, but it is still a must. $250 would cover tickets, tax, and drinks- "O" is the most popular show.

Another great Vegas experience is a gondola ride at The Venetian- don't know the price exactly, but I'm guessing 50 for two plus 10 dollar tip. We didn't get to do this because we ran out of money.

Once last "must" experience- 30 for a ride for two up the Stratosphere tower. It's very close to the chapel we married at, so we went there right after we said our vows... It was very pleasant and had great photo ops. Another thing, make sure they have a digital camera!!!

My husband and I were married at Treasure Island 10/22/96 and had 9 people fly out with us from MN. It was wonderful and well worth it! We will be going out next month for our anniversary.

My daughter and her husband were married at Mandalay Bay in Sept 2004 and it was fabulous! They also had about 11 people fly out from MN. They then flew to Jamaica for their honeymoon two days later. We just gave them a set amount of money toward their wedding and so did her husband's parents and they picked up the balance. We did pay for a dinner after the wedding for everyone.

I don't know all the costs off the top of my head, but it was well worth it and probably much cheaper and less stressful than it would have been otherwise. I know that we have wonderful memories and I am sure that they do also as does everyone who was in attendance.
