I don't ask questions and that's because:

(a) if I'm after factual information I am capable of doing a proper search which will ensure genuine information and not abuse and/or sarcasm;

and

(b) I don't care much for people's opinions of me so I don't need their thoughts on any decisions I'm going to make.

And I'm not one of those people who care about the points because the points mean NOTHING. I'm just here because I'm bored at work.

1) They've got nothing they want to ask
2) They're too nervous to ask, maybe?
3) They've got tons of questions, but just can't think of anything when sitting in front of their computer
4) They type in their question, and a message comes up showing them that a very similar/identical question has already been asked.
