eeeep, toooooo much branch growth and not enough folliage.
Help! the poor little fellow is starting to look more then a little bit thin and sickly + all the new groth is at the brach tips.

Your Bonsai is not getting enough light.
What you have described is 'stretching' due to low light levels; the branches will become soft and thin as they reach for light.
You can trim them back to a suitable leaf joint, but it will make more 'breaks';
Keep it watered, but don't feed again until the growing season (Spring) - then feed with a High Nitrogen feed to get good foliage.

I happen to know for a fact that your bonsai is NOT suffering, as I am looking at it RIGHT NOW and that you only posted a question in gardening so that I would either

1) answer

or

2) get off line so you could call me.
