Sorry, that was a little vague.
I was goth back in middle school, now I'm just whatever I feel like being. Taste in music usually tells a lot about a person, but only because you like Slipknot, doesn't necessarily mean you're gothic. I still like Slipknot, Marylin Manson, I also like Coldplay, and classical stuff... but then again, I'm over the whole scene thing.

well not really cuz i listen to like a few songs from them.... but i guess only if you dress goth then that would make me consider you one but i don't know you so i wouldn't know..and what does it matter so what you listen to them. just cuz you listen to the music doesn't mean you have to dress the style... like me i don't dress totally "emo" and "emo" is like all i listen to! (although i am starting to dress more and more emo though hmmm....) but music doesn't always have to define what you are just cuz you listen to it Good Luck! i hope you got my point.â¥(and is Slipknot even considered "goth"?)

no, not at all "gothic" bands are guys like sisters of mercy, alien sex fiend etc
slipknot are not goth, file under metal

I would have to say no.. when i think of someone who is Gothic I think of someone who wears dark crazy looking clothes.. crazy hair.. not someone who listens to a certain band.
