That boils down to the amenities of each. One environment is not any better than the other. If both are in a safe and secure neighborhood you could find advantages and draw backs to either solution. I have raised children in both of them and have found no overwhelming reason to choose one over the other as long as you have the room you need.

A house is always better, no matter what the age. A house dictated stability, there are not new neighbors every month, you have control over the simplest things, such as what color you want to paint your house or if you want a pet. You gain equity that can be used alter in life for college or a wedding. It can be passed on to another generation. It can be home. What do you get with an apartment except for temporary housing?

A house. Kids need space, such as a backyard to play in. Also with an apartment you'd have to worry about the noise factor. Not everyone nearby can adapt to the noise of a little girl.

They each have their advantages and disadvantages. A home will give you more privacy, space and is an investment; however it is more expensive and you are responsible for needed repairs, etc. An apartment/condo is less expensive, less private, but has more opportunities for you and your daughter to socialize with others...esp. if it has a pool, sports and BBQ area. The repairs are taken care of by maintenance. So it is a balancing act. Best wishes.

definetly a house. With an apartment, you have god only knows who living around you but with a house, you're off by yourself and your walls are connected to someone elses. Also, you can have your daughter play outside without the fear of someone coming and taking her or hurting her.
