I would say that this person has to be the lowest of the low. To give you an ultimatum that you have to stay with him in order for his child to have a father when he is in bed with another woman is despicable. He is trying to manipulate you when his hand was caught to say in the cookie jar. I say drop him. I know right now your probably really emotional being pregnant and having to witness this scum in bed with another woman. I am sorry to hear you are going through this but he is not worth it. I don't believe a man like that deserves to even be called a father. His deception, lies and manipulation would not be a good parent figure for your child. Some day you will find someone deserving of you and your baby don't settle for someone that treats you with no respect and has no regard for your feelings or his future baby because if he did he would never have done this to you.

1- decide if you are going to have/keepthe baby.
- abortion?
- adoption?
2- determine if you want to stay in a relationship with him. I'm assuiming that if you are asking the question then you are leaning towards no.
3- re-evaluate if you want to have the baby. Keep in mind that it will not have a father figure, you are not married, your potential income is now approx 1/3 of what it would have been had you not become pregenet.
4- determine where you will live with this baby, how will you earn money to take care of it. Who will look after it when you are at school or work.
5- re-evaluate if you want to have/keep this baby. You will not be able to provide for it like you would have if you were married.
6- go to a dr and determine why your birth control failed and correct it before dating anyone else.

Your boyfriend is a loser. Did he know you were pregnant? Anybody who would bring another woman to your place is also a cheapskate. He has only said that he would not be in the babies life if... I think you should see an attorney and they are going to require a paternity test. Please inform your doctor that there is a possibility of your having sexually transmitted diseases. For the time being I would not touch that dude unless he has a condom.
Guess you have to decide if you are better off with this person or without him and I think all the answers point to dumping this cheater.

The baby has a father, this butt head. Just because you break up doesn't mean the baby won't have a father. People get divorced all the time and fathers stay in their children's life. You do not have to keep a cheater just to have a daddy. Who knows maybe you will find somebody who is wonderful to you and they will become a great part of this new babies life. Good luck!

Has the incident made you lose any respect for yourself? For example, if you stay with him, will you feel like you didn't stick up for yourself, and that your love is a sham? If you think that you will, then I can guarantee that as your child gets older, he/she will pick up on that insecurity of yours and will have disrespect for you in one way or another. (I know because I had to learn the hard way why I was disrespectful to my Mom, even when I knew it hurt her...it was because she never demanded any respect from my Dad or siblings. As a child, I didn't know any better, but now I do, but my older brothers will never learn, I'm sure.)
However, if you can demand respect from this guy and for yourself, knowing that his cheating was no fault of your own - that it was his weakness and his shortcomings, then maybe you have a chance - as long as he realizes it too and is willing to figure out what situations he needs to keep himself away from to avoid letting it happen again. For example, years and years ago, I cheated on my boyfriend (and I justified it by saying well, he was a raging jerk to me, which was weak in itsself), and when we got back together, he naturally would get jealous easily. So I had to learn to stay away from the situations that made him jealous (my chatting with guy friend even stopped, even though I knew it posed no threat, he didn't). I did this for a few years (!) so that he could heal.

Well lets see, why not stay with the cheating SOB so he can father your baby and your baby can grow up thinking it;'s OK to cheat on your wife.
I suppose you think he reallllllly loves you. B/S. I'm sorry for you, but this time you and your baby lose. He's a player, he got some poontang from you, knocked you up and now he's moving on.
Leave him and take his *** to court for child support and find a man to Love you and only you and your baby. There are some good men out there.

Just to let you know, it never stops once it has started. Yeah, you can say it's better for the baby to have a daddy, but, he won't have much of a daddy, daddy may give you some diseases, and/or perhaps leave you down the road when you've had more of his offspring. I'd love to be optimistic for you, but, the fact is that (been there, done that) they don't change, they won't change and you are SERIOUSLY better off w/o them.....you don't want to raise a child in such a negative environment anyways....you know? Be wise......but, you have to learn your own mistakes, so, good luck w/ you decisions.

Pray about it. I'm serious. People do change. Let him know about the baby and he may throw his wild oats out the window. If he doesn't that doesn't make him a bad father, it just means he's not ready for a committed relationship. You are going to need stability in your life now for the sake of your child. It is better for your child to see Mom and Dad friends in a healthy way outside of a romantic relationship than a child to see parents fighting for the sake of saying they stayed together for the child.

Well, it's safe to say the relationship is screwed. Now you need to think of the baby and you. As for having a father in her life (BTW, if you "just found" out you're pregnant, how did you figure out he gender), do you want a cheater as that role model? There are better guys out there that would love and care for both of you. In the meantime, you need to focus on the developing miracle inside you.
