Lens paper is an extremely soft paper which is used to clean the lenses of a microscope. It speciallly designed so as not to scratch the lens. When it is reused, it can transfer dirt and other abrasives that were wiped off of a previous lens and can scratch the lens, which is expensive to replace.

It doesn't matter whether it is a lens paper for a microscope or for a camera. It is used to clean the lens, and doing so, it may catch dust. If you use the paper again, this dust may scratch the lens.
Moreover, many lens papers are soaked with a cleaning liquid which evaporates and wouldn't be there for a second try.
Most important is, that a lens paper will never leave one of its own fibers on the lens.
