I'd like to expand my film library. Specifically in terms of Japanese samurai films. I have the classics like the Samurai Trilogy, Yojimbo, Sunjuro, Samurai Rebellion, Lone Wolf and Cub, ect... Anymore really good one?

Zatoichi (2003 film)

Zatoichi movie series...
Zatoichi (座頭市 Zatōichi) is a fictional character featured in one of Japan's longest running series of films and a television series set in the Edo period. The enduring popularity of the character has been likened to that of James Bond in Western countries. Unlike Bond, however, whose character has been portrayed by a long list of actors, Zatoichi has become almost synonymous with only one actor: Shintaro Katsu. The only other actor to portray Zatoichi on film is Takeshi Kitano, after a hiatus of almost 15 years.

"Sword of Doom" is one of my alltime favorites, though a lot of people don't like the ending.

How bout "RAN" and "Seven Samurai?" You didn't mention them.

Do you like the kind with the arterial spray, or the more serious ones? I like both
