look for the nipple ( but it can also be an opening look for any small removable panel ) you really need the manual or go to the library for a service book cause it is good to know what grease to use ! may be service manual on manf. web site also

There are those model that do not have an access. If you think, rather see that it is leaking then you can drill a hole in the top of the transaxel and put grease in that way. If you see no signs of leakage don't worry about it. You did not mention what type of mower. If you have a Snapper , one of the single blade models there is a zerk on those. If you do drill a hole get like a self tapping screw that is a little bigger than the hole to put in the hole so dirt does not get in to it.

Real old peerless'es (and they're competitors) had drain plugs and used 80w-90 gear oil, mainly new transaxles today are permanently sealed, and use a betonite grease...... theres no need to mess with em at all.
