how long does struts on a car last?

riding in the rain my front tire on passenger side make vibrating noise

Well it is funny. Most struts will last 20,000 and thy should be checked every 20,000.
A vibrating nose from the wheel does not mean the strut is bad.
Put your foot on the frount bumper and push down hard. the car will and shouls only bounce 1 time. If the strut is bad it will bounce up and down a number of times.
If you take it to a frount end place, most of the time thy will say it is bad just to get you to replace. If you do, have it checked at morre then 1 place.

For regular driving they should last ten years or so,I would think.
