yes, you sign out then they just sign in.

Go to yahoo.com and if no one is signed in on the page then your friend signs in using his yahoo ID and password. If you are signed in, then you sign out and have him sign in.
Once he has signed in, click on the "My Mail" link on the web page. This should bring you right to it.

There is an option that says someting like Logout and sign in as a different user.

just ask them to type www.mail.yahoo.com,then enter their id and password,voila!!! they can now check the mail!!!!!!
