Your gas gauge has nothing to do with the performance or driveability of the vehicle. As long as there is gasoline in the vehicle it should be fine.

I recommend filling the gas tank completely. Pay to get it filled to the top and have them give you change when the pump stops, this way you know that all 50L is filled.

Reset your trip meter

Next time you get gas, fill up the tank completely again.
This will allow you determine the km/L you are getting (approximately).

Reset the trip meter each time you get gas.

Each time you get gasoline, you know approximately how much is still in the tank based on your km/L

The only other way is to take the vehicle in and get the gas gauge fixed. It's either reading full too early, or reading empty too early.

First look under the car and see if the bottom of the tank is flat not sucked in or smashed. Second Use up some fuel less than 1/2 tank then it is safe to lift out the rear seat cushion Take up the metal plate covering the fuel tank sending unit disconnect electrical plug and two fuel hoses. unbolt hold down ring and lift up the sender unit and make sure you turn and lean the sender to get the float arm out of the tank. Carefully pour the fuel out of the sender into a gasoline can with funnel by turning and flipping the sender up and down then hook up the wires to the sender (fuel may spray) after you put a old towel in front of the outlet turn ignition to run and operate the float arm thru it's range and watch what the Gage does. This tests the full range of Gage and sender readings. Always use a new Nissan O ring to reseal the sending unit

Not sure what liquid you are referring to, but maybe water? If water the gas will float over the water, so just insert a tube into the tank and draw out a small portion from the bottom of the tank to check it out. If a clog it may be in the fuel filter as this is what they do. If a lot of water in,your tank you need to remove the tank to completely drain. Or could be just your gas gage is faulty.
