I liked the point in the interview when he says he was a "regular guy" off the field.
Yeah, sure, if a "regular guy" is an arrogant mofo who charges small children for an autograph and won't so much as wave at them when they're screaming his name.

Pete Rose is a "Spot Light Junkie" - once he starts to fade, he finds a way to get back in the spotlight - I loved him when he played but now he's just irritating - Does anyone actually believe that he didn't know the balls were going to surface? Bullshitt - Magic Johnson is the same way - I love Magic, he's my favorite basketball player of all time but he always tries to get in the mix even when he doesn't belong there

Pete Rose is truely sorry beacuse his dream is to be in the Hall of Fame and he should be in there beacuse he is the best hitter of all time! The hall of fame was made to recognize the greatest players of the game and Pete Rose is defientely one of the best!

No I think we should forget the whole betting thing and just allow him the recognition that he deserves. He is now and will be the best player never to make the hall of fame. What a sad world we live in?

Those balls might be worth alot of money to some people but not to me, it only tarnishes the way he played the game. That is sad because he was one of the PISTONS in "The Big Red Machine"!!
