SEO: My son, David Johnson's name will not come up in any search engine? Why?

His full name is David Britt Johnson. He is both a musician and a photographer with loads of images of himself and his wife and all the things he has photographed and he will not show up in googling or even images regardless of the search engine you use. He will show up on myspace:

nor here:http://www.soundclick.com/bands/pagemusic.cfm?bandID=540972 nor here:http://www.myspace.com/ignitionsongs nor here:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2CcJP170XCc and there are others including ModelMayhem with loads of images on there...If you go to Photobucket search he will come up in David Johnson Hot Guys or David Johnson Elvis but you would already have to know the exact url in most cases. What's happening to my boy!

The image databases are not crawled and updated as frequently as the regular search updates.

But with all the people gaming search (hey I even wrote a book on it!), the engines probably will not trust your website much unless you can get a few other people to link to your site.

There are tons of ways to build links, try getting a few trusted ones and then your site will get indexed. Also if there is someone popular with the same name then it may take a while to get enough high quality links to be able to outrank them.

If he is not showing up is usually is because the sites that he may be listed in have not been submitted/indexed by search engines like google and yahoo.
