I got my ears pierced about 2 weeks ago, on September 2nd. I am going swimming today in an indoor pool, and i was wondering if i could go under the water and get my ears wet? I was wondering if an indoor pool would give me an infection, or will it be okay? Please answer!

Yes, you could get an infection if the wound were still open, but after 2 weeks it should be healed and you can do anything that you would normally do.

You will be fine to go swimming. Just make sure after you're finished swimming that you cleanse them thoroughly and apply Polysporin because the chemicals from the pool can be drying to the skin, especially sensitive areas like your freshly pierced ear lobes.

yes it is okay to swim under water, and you will not get an infection just as long as you clean your ear when you get out the pool with the ear cleaning solution you should have been given by your piercer!!

It should be ok. But if you're still worried that they'll get infected, Put waterproof band-aids over your ears. As long as you clean them every night until the 7 wks are over you should be ok!

yes because i just got my ears pierced and i steel went in the water but make sure they dont fall out or else they will close.

after two weeks it should be okay to go swimming. just don't remove your ear rings from your ears.

from past experience ur ears will be fine. i went in a overly chlorine filled pool and they were fine. don't worry have a good time.

It's okay for your ears, just make sure you don't pinch your ears or hurt them. But just have fun and don't think about it.
