I have an old computer and I was wondering if I could add the ram card to my newer computer?

Highly doubtfull! It must be the same type of memory!

Brand shouldn't matter. It's the bus speed and timing that matter most. If you have a motherboard that accepts PC100, all of the chips need to have PC100 or compatible memory.

Some memory is compatible with various bus speeds, i.e. a manufacturer may spec a chip to PC100/PC133/PC166, meaning it will work with those bus speeds.

Same Frequency brands doesn't matter... If the other computer has PC100 better install PC100 too... You can't mix different frequency...
