When asking a question on these boards we have to categorize our question after writing it,do you think the should be a general or everything else section for questions like this that are not about any specific topic ??

Yes, there ought to be a "I haven't a clue what category to put this in" section. My last question would have fallen in there. I wasn't happy with the category I chose, but it was the best I could do.

It would probably get loaded with just about every kind of question but I guess it couldn't hurt.

I think we do. It is called "open questions." It is a virtual pot pourri of everything!
