I'm not complaining that he got caught .. im complaining cuz i wasn't touring with him. This is going to be a very controversial arguement among the media and fellow residents of the world. Thanks to all that read and or answer this question!

I would just almost bet 'ya that everybody on the bus claimed to be an equal owner of the substance in question, so when you take a pound and a half of weed and divide it by the number of musicians on the bus (average age over fifty) the ownership of each person claiming would probably be below the possession amount for a felony. Willy was not the only person on the bus cited. I don't remember offhand how many others but there were several. So what if they did cut him some slack because of his celebrity status. Old Willie is not a dealer! His predilection for pot is well known and he makes no bones about it. I bet he gave the officer a CD and had his photo took with him to boot. Beside being a super musician and performer, Willie is a nice guy. Willie and the boys don't have to tour for a living, it's their life style. They tour because they love it. Maybe he did get some slack cut, if so---------oh, well. After all, he's Willie, and he's 70 years old to boot.. I'm not defending him or agreeing with his drug use, but I can't see where he's doing anybody any harm either. I think it will all turn out to be a tempest in a teapot. The show will go on!

I don't think anyone was shocked by it.

He likely 1-did not have enough to warrant an arrest or 2- there were so many people in the tour bus that the police could not actually say it was him.

Poor willie. Look at the other side. If it was one of us, We wouldn't be broad casted all over about these topics. It may be wrong , We still have our right for privacy why not him.

I for one think that everyone in the bus should have been charged with possession. If it was one of us and friends that is what would have happened , but since it was a "celebrity" the cops let them slide.

Of course it's because it's "Willie" that he's not in jail.

You or I would be in Jail. That's double standards and believe me there will be a stink over it.
