Most films differ from the books anyway, but I prefer watching the movie first.

well I don't claim to be a Grisham fan , but, I am a Stephen King fan and there is a BIGGGG difference between most of his books and his movies(or rather the movies other people make from his books) THIS IS ESPECIALY TRUE OF "HEARTS IN ATLANTIS" possibly the most heart breaking Stephen King book ever written, my favorite part is the 2nd chapter which is about college freshmen boys who get caught up in a card game , hell getting ADDICTED to the game of hearts against the backdrop of the vietnam war in 1966, so addicted their grades slip and they are in danger of being drafted. that isn't even remotely in the movie!!!
