my plant is now at 8 inches. i know that you have to pinch the top of it to help it grow.... but when is the right time/hight to do so?

BTW, "pinch " a 12 inch stem back to 6 inches is pruning, not pinching....^_^

From The Garden Helper:

"When the seedling reaches 12 inches, it should be pinched back to about 6-8 inches to produce a rounder, fuller plant. "
