We have junk day four times a year and tons of people do that - though it isn't as fun as what you suggest! I put a stove out and it was gone before I could put the refrigerator out (someone gave me a better one!)
You know, I read something about dumpster diving, too, something about the legality of things you might find, and if I remember correctly, the diver was in good shape. I wish they'd given more to that homeless guy. Surely honestly deserves more than that.

My whole house is full of beautiful furniture I got from dumpster diving in Southern California. There is so much money down there, that you would not believe the beautiful items that people toss out when they are moving.

I have and I have found a diamond ring that the pawn shop accidentally threw out. My mom took it and never gave it back.

ya stumbled on a lot of serious stuff years in the past. there changed into this one lebanese bakery that used to throw out all there day previous pitas, in reality they were packaged and tied up so as that they in no way were given gross. Get more than a number of packaged truffles n **** and cookies from the food market ones. If garbage searching counts as dumpster diving then I have stumbled on an previous telephone from the 1900s, this creepy outfit that sounds like it belonged to slightly female interior the early 1900s, couches, chairs, lamps, signs and warning signs, weird and wonderful previous black and white photos, a globe, quite some different furnishings, workstation a tremendous asian timber and silk umbrella with hand portray on it, matress after I moved into my very last position of abode, someone moved out and left the matress by making use of the dumpster at the same time as i changed into transferring in... quite some junk and metallic parts. A motherboard that grew to change right into a shelf. weird and wonderful books. Thats all i will imagine of yet i understand theres more advantageous.
