Did your boyfreind give you a reason on why he wanted to cut down on the time? I suggest you find out the reason why he wants to do this. He needs a very good explanation, because after 3 years he should know what he wants in the relationship. No need for him to put space between you after that amount of time. Does he have financial problems, work stress? Anything like that? Let me know what his reasons are. THIS DOES NOT MEAN HE IS SEEING SOMEONE ELSE! He could just be feeling pressure. Has marriage or anything like that come up between the both of you lately? That could have scared him. Is he in his 40's going through his mid-life crisis?

You can't force anyone to be with you. What really can you do? Well, I guess you could make a fool of yourself and stalk him, continually call him and just be a pain. You could beg him to not leave you, tell him how much you love him...etc. But honestly this will only make things worse for you both. Talk with him, find out his reasons but you really just need to listen and allow yourself to feel what you need to. Take care of you right now, that is what he is doing.

Say "okay", then start hanging out with your friends, dress hot and go out dancing. Have lots of fun. Don't, under any circumstances, beg him not to do this. He is taking you for granted and needs a wake up call. Give it to him big time. Don't always be available for him. Like, if he calls and wants to go out and have dinner, tell him "Oh, I'd love to but I already have plans" (even if you don't) It will be tough, but trust me on this. It will work.

why does he want less time w/ you? i'll come back and see what you wrote on the details... but you should respect his wishes in a way if he's just saying he wants 1 day for himself out of the week it's not so bad, but if he's being mean or rude something might be going on... if you're not happy, you can't help it.. i'll come back and check to see if u put any more details up

I THINK HE IS ASKING FOR A BREAK ON THE DOWN LOW.......SEEMS TO ME LIKE HE WANTS TO WONDER OFF ON HIS OWN WITHOUT HAVING YOUR APPROVAL ....MAKES SENSE HE CAN HAVE HIS FUN WHILE YOU ARE STILL THERE .....WOW HE HAS IT ALL FIGURED OUT WHAT A SMART GUY.
