It was about Bi-Polar disorder (Manic Depression). I thought it was a very interesting and powerful account of this particular mental disorder. Fry was very open and honest about his own experiences, and it was good that there were interviews with 'average' people with bipolar, not just celebrities. What did anyone else think about it?

There's a second episode next Tuesday at the same time, think it covers how he's going to tackle his bi-polar so it might have a few more "answers", so to speak. Have a look on the bbc website as well, they have links and a pamphlet etc: bbc.co.uk/health

Yes I watched with my wife who is a manic depressive and not too good at the moment. He did give some good explanations of the condition and symptoms. Made me feel more reassured but did not give me any more guidance as to handle the situation. Maybe the BBC web site could do that.

I missed it! I hope they repeat it. Depression is such a huge subject that is largely hushed up and not talked about. It's been my nasty little companion for some years now and would love to know what was said and how it was portrayed.
