I make a point of not lying, it's not worth it in the long run. I've only lied to my husband twice in 12 years, once when I cheated on him, and I felt so bad about it I came clean a week later. And second, when I got pregnant with our second son because he said he didn't want anymore kids. I waited a month then told him. Him and my son have been best buds since.
Ever since then, no more lies, I don't want people lying to me so I won't do it to them.

recently i was lied to by some one and it infuriates me. My sil said she didn't want her kids around our mil and i have come to find out that they were there just the other day. We constantly talk to my mil so of course we would know if they were there. My sil told me they were at her sisters. Well i asked her about how they liked being at her sisters and she lied to me again. She is always telling me she finds out stuff no one wants her to know, well i am just waiting for the right time to let her know i know all her dirty little lies and secrets.

yes it is silly
but i think the reason they lie over a lie is that they are so caught up un the lie that they seem not to be able to get out of it
and the lies continues

A person who lies cannot admit that he is wrong. He feels that if he keeps on lying that you will eventually believe him. I know people that lie constantly and will never admit it.

i think people lie about a lie because they don't want the other person to know. when you lie about a lie that someone already knows about then that's odd. i guess that they really want people to believe them.

Because they don't want to admit wrong because it's embarrassing. Trust me, I know.
Not that I'm a liar.
Or am I?
