Nope!
In fact, I am actually quite the opposite. I have NEVER, (well ever since my account restarted) chose a “Best Answer,” I put all my questions to a vote. I figure if I asked a question for the community to help me answer – then why not also let them choose who they feel is best? Therefore, if you look at all my questions, they have all their best answers chosen by a vote.

Part of the fun on YA is reading the answers an seeing which one I like the best. Rewarding good, fun answers is kind of a service…and if just feels good to give away 10 well-earned points.

I missed a few when we had to go out of town on emergency basis. I'm going to try to in the future because sometimes voters choose really bad answers as best.

Yeah, I do. It's the right thing to do. I'd hate it if I put a really long and detailed answer and the asker just left the topic to burn. You gotta leave a best answer!

I haven't asked many, but I usually pick them. The first one got away from me.
