What are the Las Vegas(or where ever) odds on there being a NY Mets Vs NY Yankees World Series. Not who would win.. just the odds of both the Yanks and Mets winning there respective pennants.
PS.. I don't Gamble. this is just for fun.

Neither team has enough pitching. Depending on who gets in will determine who gets to the series. I think the Yanks will fall to Oakland, since they have the best pitching in the AL, and the Mets will fall to the Dodgers if they get in. And watch out for the Phillies if they get into the playoffs, they have had the Mets number recently, and have some good pitching in the short series, its hard to go up against Hamels, Myers, and Moyer/Lieber when they are dealing like they are now.

Man I'm from New York and I absolutely hate the Yankee's going to the big WS this year. The American League is so good with the Detroit Tigers, Twins and there to good for them. There not going to win the World Series. Did you see Gary Sheffield was playing 1st base yesterday? Anyways, the Mets will. The NL is horrible. The Mets have the best record in the NL and best D-Fense. I would like to see a World Subway Series though, but its just not going to happen.

I think the NY Mets will be in, but I am biased cause I am a Mets fan and they deserve to be in since they had such a great start this year! I,m from NY and I not hoping for a Subway series, as my other half is a Yankee fan and my whole office is too! It would be hell to go to work if they lost to the Yankees

The Yankees will go to the WS cuz they have the best offense in the A.L. Although their pitching isn't the best its decent with C.M Wang and Mike Mussina(if he comes back).

The mets will not make it cuz their best pitcher is Tom Glavin wit a 3.97 E.R.A. Even if they do make it the Yankees' batters will take advantage of their pitching

The mets will be tough if Jose Reyes gets on. But if you handle Carlos D., Carlos B., and David W. it will be easier.
