Johnson and James, only because Jenkins is going to suffer with Vick's inconsistencies.

Giving away a player like Shaun Alexander is never a good plan, even though he has been average up until now.
However, getting Edgerrin James and Andre Johnson is too good to pass up. James has not been as good as advertised, but will still put up good numbers in the Cardinal offense. We haven't even seen what Johnson can really do yet, as the Texans have had two tough opponents in Philly and Indy. With Eric Moulds on the team and Kubiak as coach, things should look up as the season progresses for Johnson.
Alexander on the other hand will not match his MVP totals of last season, so he is a disappointment no matter what. He also lost Steve Hutchinson to Minnesota and his back-up, new starter Pork Chop Womack for the better part of a month with an injury. This is not good news and will make this trade lopsided in the weeks ahead.
Jenkins is a good WR and would be great...if he was on another team. Atlanta will run first, then run second. Their passing game consists of Alge Crumpler and that is about it.
Make this trade, if you haven't already done so.

Whoever gets Alexander wins that deal. He is the best of the four. James was nice, but now he has to run behind a horrible O-line. Jenkins and Johnson are almost the same.

The Alexander side is much better.
SA is a touchdown machine. Edge is going to be a blocker with Arizona's terrible O-line. Johnson and Jenkins is a wash, they're both crap.
Yes, Alexander is off to a slow start, but the other owner is counting on you to give him up on the cheap. If you do this deal, any chance you had of the playoffs is gone.

Getting James and Johnson looks slightly better at this point in the season. It looks like the loss of Hutchinson is hurting Alexander so I look for James and Alexander to be about even. David Carr looks good so far and it looks like Michael Vick is going to do a lot more running so I would look for Andre Johnson to outperform Jenkins.

James/Johnson, but it's hard to give up Shaun.
First of all, there's a good chance Michael Jenkins is worthless. He might have a good game or two, but he'll hurt you more than help if you play him every week.
Andre Johnson is a top 10 receiver, so if your receiving corps sucks, I'd lean towards that trade.
Edge isn't on Shaun's level, but he's up there, so if it's worth paying the price to get Johnson, then it makes sense.

i think getting alexander and jenkins is a better deal. edge doenst have a offensive line to block for him and the RB position is more imporatnt than WR.

The guys you gave are better then the guys you get back by quite a bit. If your going to trade those two. Trade them for better players.
