The memorials in Shanksville PA and at the WTC site are being built with private donations. Neither Bush nor the Federal gov't nor any State gov't has anything to do with any 9/11 memorial. Seems to me you just want to blame Bush for yet one more thing.

Youtube again? The voice of the idiot liberal. (Notice I didn't say "all liberals.") Yep, it's Bush, he's forgotten. You know that traffic jam you were in this morning? Yep, that was Bush, too. He's responsible for every bad thing that happens. It has absolutely nothing to do with the people in the neighborhood of Ground Zero who don't want the traffic and the crowds and who just want to get business, ie the money, back into the neighborhood. Nope, it's Bush.

Quote from an opinion from Yahoo/////
Five years later this space is still empty.
Five years later there is no memorial to the dead.
Five years later there is not building rising to show with proud defiance that we would not have our America wring from us, by cowards and criminals.
Five years later this country's wound is still open
Five years later this country's mass grave is still unmarked.
Five years later this is still just a back ground for a photo-op.
It is beyond shameful.
Shame on you, Mr. President!!!!!"

There is no memorial that can do justice to the loss.
When something hurts so badly, sometimes we hold onto it tightly not even wanting to attend the wound.

why is it always Bushes fault? That is the dumbest damn question ever. Yes there is a memorial at all the sites they are temporary ones but the actual permanent ones will start contruction soon.

This is a great video. Governor Pataki just vetoed a bill that would make the memorial free of charge. I guess they don't believe every American should be able to visit it.

Do your homework on memorials.

How long did it take for a WWII memorial?
