This depends.

To a shy performer who's in front of a crowd, ignorance of the crowd is bliss.

To an explorer travelling to the moon in a capsule by hand, knowledge of how to steer the craft would be very powerful.

When you have an explorer travelling to the moon while performing for the world, both ignorance is bliss and knowledge is power.

Ignorance is bliss, because one does not have the Knowledge to know what one is missing. Knowledge is power because it only comes with an elevation in consciousness that also allows an increase in resisting that which creates Karma... thus lessening ones load that keeps one locked into the cycle of reincarnation.

Ignorance is both power and bliss. I work at a research center and always the boss is dull witted and ignorant. A boss' raison d'etre is his or her's inability to think for themselves. They are committed to filling their mouths with the vileness of others. They are rated solely on the ability to imitate one another. No dissension, just obey and pass down.
Knowledge is something an adult learns to hide or erase.

Both. It depends on the situation.

If your friend was in a gang, ignorance is bliss in reference to what she does within the gang.

But knowledge is power when talking about education. The more you know, the better off you'll be.

Knowledge is power. Think about it. People who lack education end up with low paying jobs. People without knowledge end up getting taken advantage of.
