Do you think Venezuela's president is a real threat or he is just making a lot of noise for nothing?

I am venezuelaina and he scares me with all the talk of friendship with Iran and all the other stuff he talks about. what do you think?

I think Chavez wants his country to be more independent and not have to cater to foreign powers. He will mello, but he just wants the world to know where he stands. He is building close ties with the major nations in South America, and the other non aligned nations, currently headed by Cuba. His friendship with Iran, puts him in a good position to negotiate a compromise.Americans think every one else distrusts Cuba. This is far from the truth.
Cuba has assumed the leadership of the Non-Aligned Movement after being elected to direct that 116-country organization for the next three years.
A few months ago, Cuba was supported in its bid to join the new UN Human Rights Council by 135 countries Last November, a Cuban motion at the UN General Assembly to condemn the U.S. embargo of that country was supported by 182 countries. Only four (the United States, Israel, Palau and the Marshall Islands) voted against. Sadly because, of it's imperialistic plans the US is isolating itself.

Unfortunately the Venezuelan president has a friendship blooming with Iran and Cuba. Its believed that Venezuela is also attempting to make nuclear weapons, and is consorting with Iran and N. Korea to accomplish this goal.
