woo... r u full of beans.. anyone from UK can access the jobsinthesun.com, resortjobs.com, etc. Better yet, call the major hotels, resorts, cruise lines, etc and ask for their joblines and see if they have jobs in the Karbeans (sic!) They will likely hang up on you... McD has lots of openings during the hurricane season!!!

Steven try jobinthesun.com i found this site and it's been really useful...lots of work available for chefs etc, they also have forums so you can post questions there and get replys from people who have done this type of thing before.
Most jobs like this are in hotels etc so usually accommodation is provided. That is the best site i have found although there are a few others, try caribbeanjobs.com and tropicaljobs.com. Goodluck.x

I'd look into the Sol Melia Group of resorts. They are a European owned company but they have tons of locations in the Caribbean. I know the Paradisus Palma Real in Punta Cana Dominican Republic has staff accomidations so I'm assuming that their other properties do as well.

i'm sure you mean caribbean!!!

try www.hcareers.com

or check for all the hotels/resorts website in the country you would prefer to work. you can search from their careers or recruitment section and you apply from there.

you can send your application letter attached with your CV on it to any hotel/resort you fancy working.

it does not mean that a company has to post a job vacancy to some website for them to recruit somebody. some companies prefers people who find them on their own. trust me, it works for me. It just shows that you have seen their website and that you want to work for them eventhough there is no job vacancy posted. it shows interest man! interest in the company and interest to work for them.

but don't tell anybody else... this is our own little secret!!!

Helen p and steven j - it is probably "CARIBBEAN" that you are looking for - look on a map and get some names of islands though - Caribbean is pretty vague

Go on google search and put "caribbean chef job" for a start.

Learn how to use grammar and stick your head next to an open oven door. When I say "go", open your eyes. See you at the dentists.

Contact travel agents in your own country to see what openings they have.

Where's the carbean? If you can cook better than you can spell, try the carribean.
