The first reason for yellowing is lack of water which is not your problem. Second would be lack of nitrogen. When is the last time you fertilized it and what was the fertilizer analysis (for summer 30-3-3 is close to standard--30 being the nitrogen). If it's been more than 6 weeks that's probably your problem because I assume in FL you have sandy soil that allows the nutrients to leach through the root zone fairly easily.

If fert. is not the problem the 3rd reason would be a lack of iron. Plants can't make their pigments (chlorophyll) without iron. You can get Ironite in most Lawn & Garden Centers. Put it down according to instructions and see if that greens it up.

If that's not it the only thing left is disease. Your L&G technician could help you with that one.

Your sandy soil is crap.
Iron is the big problem.
It could be leaf spot, but most likely iron.
I use 22 -0 -11 and spray lawn with a fungicide and liquid iron.
Cured the problem right up.
Call Scott's Lawn Service. They can handle the problem.
No matter what they charge, it will be less than you can do it for, and they will come back for FREE!

what is the temp there right now?? if it is above 85 i would first start to water a bit more.. try ever other day.. you are watering at a good time.. once the roots are watered more, add some ironite.. this stuff works wonders on yellowing grass...
