remember what you went to the kitchen for? It usually takes me about 5 minutes, but that includes coming back and sitting down to jog my memory. Apparently my memory brains are in my butt because as soon as I sit down, I remember and I jump up and start the whole process again. Now if I could only remember what I started to ask...

I find that I do my best thinking in the shower, usually while I'm shampooing. I sometimes wonder whether this is because the warm water causes an increase in blood flow to my brain. More likely it's because the vibration of scrubbing my scalp causes the brain cells to slip back into position, like those games where you try to roll the BB into the clown's nose.

The kitchen, however, is a very important room in the house to me, and I tend to do most of the cooking, so I almost always know what I went in there for. However, with four other people living in the house with me, I am almost never sure WHERE to find what I'm looking for. I appear to be the only one in the house who understands that if you take something out of one drawer, you shouldn't put it back in a different cabinet...

LOL, it usually takes me a couple minutes at least. Sometimes I have to retrace my steps to figure it out. Sometimes I just have to go do something else for awhile and then all of a sudden it pops into my head, oh yeah I forgot I need to do so and so, lol.'

remember backwards... you know, like think of the last thing that you can remember thinking about and then re-do everything you just did in the last five minutes (or before that), and at some point you will reach that memory of yours... it works.

It takes anywhere from 1 second to 3 hours, depending on when the husband comes home & demands dinner.

i hate it when that happens i'll get up, get to where i needed to be, stand there clueless for about 1 minute trying to figure out what i needed to do, go back to where i was before, let it bug me for about 8 mins, then if im lucky i'll remember but i wont want/need it anymore.

Something like a few minutes, but that includes when i babytalk to my cat too (asking what he wanted :p)

I do that constantly but thats because I'm old and I hope your are to if your doing the same as me if your not old then you need to see the doc
