I had an ultra sound done that said I was 7 weeks and 4 days pregnant when I first went to the doc (I am now 19 weeks and 3 days along). Is there any chance that this is wrong? If it were wrong, it would have to be off by 5 weeks. Would a pregnancy even show up on the ultrasound at 2 1/2 weeks after sex? Any info could help. Thanks guys.

Two weeks after sex nothing would show up on an ultrasound. Around 4 to 5 weeks is when an ultrasound would show a sac and fluids and all that. At two weeks after implantation probaly just occured so there's really nothing there but the cells that will eventually become your baby.

At 7 weeks sure, but why are you asking about 2 weeks?

If you were 7 weeks the first time I would take that as accurate. These people are trained and know what they are doing.

at the start you're 23 years previous, i does no longer situation about your mom sorting out. you're an human being. i do no longer understand precisely how early an ultrasound can hit upon being pregnant, yet I do trust it must be detected very early on.

It's possible to show up as a dark spot, but they wouldn't mistake it as a 7-wk gestational sac.

no at two weeks there is no way they could have seen anything. I would talk to your obgyn about your due date again. Tell them your concern.
