You don't unless your doctor says that you need to. Semen is supposed to help get labor going, but it wont unless your body is ready for it to. So, you can have sex as long as you don't have a high risk pregnancy and your doctor doesn't forbid it. Good luck.

As long as the doctor says that it is ok (you and baby are healthy) you can have sex right up until your water breaks or contractions start.
You will obviously need to change postions are you get bigger, as you will have to change the position you sleep in. Also slower, genlter sex will be better later on. You must be comfortable. And yes, past the due date, have sex as much as possible, this was advised by different doctors in different hospitals, in different states for my two children (we moved).
Just make sure that you have good pre-natal care so that you make sure that it is still ok, and that EVERYTHING is ok.
My wife was very horny during both of her pregnancies. Made for some really great sex. As the pregnacy progresses, you will no be feeling so good. Having good sex, in a comfortable position can make all that go away, just like sex during your period relieves cramps and pain.
congrats.

You never have to stop having sex unless recommended by a doctor. If you are at risk of going into premature labour due to sexual intercourse I'm sure it will be during the last few weeks. My first child was late and nothing I did, including sex helped. So I was induced. So it doesn't always put you in labour.

You can have sex right up until the very end. Once your water breaks, you can't, though obviously.

The only reason you would need to stop is if your doctor tells you not to have sex. But otherwise, you can for all nine months.

36 - 38 weeks. But who would want to not start it. Your baby will not come out if it is not time. This is just a safe method of starting your cervix to dial ate. Some even believe that this has no effect on putting you into labor.

I've heard you can have sex up until you go into labor. It's actually encouraged if you pass your due date and want to speed things up.

i think that it may be up until the end of the 2nd trimester (meaning 6 months). that's as far as you can go safely....but I am no expert.

but sex does help start the birthing process, if you are overdue. maybe that is why you shouldn't after 6 months. risk of starting pre-mature birth.

but consult a doctor, or a medical website.

First ask your ob/gyn he/she will be able to tell you better than any of us. You should be able to have sex up until labour unless your water has broken or your doctor tells you not to. Please be careful with your baby & only trust what your doctor tells you!
