It's not a choice. It's not a sin. Virtually every credible respected authority on the matter will tell you in no uncertain terms that homosexuality is a normal, healthy sexuality just like heterosexuality and bisexuality. It is right for whoever is homosexual and it is completely acceptable.

if it's a sin, its a choice. If it is not a choice, it is not a sin. How can something be a sin if you have no control over it. I'm Christian, so I believe it's a sin, and therefore a choice. Unacceptable? If sin is unacceptable, I am unacceptable. Lord knows I'm quite a sinner. I'm not gonna get into it, but I do make less then good choices sometimes. We all do. So I stand by the first too, and, as a sinner and a human, am unqualified to determine the rest. Have a great day.

Homosexuality, i know tons of people who say they have no choice. They want to find a gene that will prove homosexuality is determined at birth. I disagree with these thougt processes. I firmly believe we as the human race have so degraded and brought down the sanctity of sexual intimacy that we have normalized sex between same genders. I have to ackowledge my convictions are determined by what i study in the bible. I have to say also that as much as i believe homosexuality is wrong i also believe any sex outside of marriage between a husband and wife is wrong. So in no way do i discriminate against those whose lifestyles are homosexual in nature. I think sex is probably the greatest gift we are given as human beings, and it's the thing we treat with the most disregard. Whether by homosexuality or heterosexuality, sex should be between man and wife.

I'm watching Oprah right now, and she has a guy on who used to be some politician, and she asked him when he knew he was gay. He said when he was six years old, he knew. Six year olds don't make choices like that. That was no choice. People are born gay. Whether or not God will hold it against them, I don't know, but my personal belief is that he won't.

ALL actions are choices.
All sexual actions are either sinful or righteous.
Acceptable? Depends on WHO is accepting...

God? Unacceptable.
Me? Unacceptable.
You?

Peace to you.

Right if you are gay. Acceptable if you are American. For some it could be a choice but for most it is born.

I believe it is a sin because I believe the Bible is the Word of God. I am a sinner, but I do not desire other men. I do find female/female and especially f/f/m if I am the male, erotic. I also do not act on this desire, because it is not stronger than my desire to please God (or maybe because I just have never had the opportunity). I must admit that my desire to have f/m sex outside of marriage is stronger than my desire to please God. I pray He is merciful. I hope Jesus blood covers that, or that God changes my heart. Or that He leads me to marriage. I am a former drug addict, and see sexual sin as very similar.
