Let's say you spend every single day with someone. The love you have for each other is HUGE. Then one of you gets busy and is unable to spend as much time again....during that time that person feels like they don't love you as much as they did before.

I know military spouses go without their man/woman for months sometimes a year or more so if they still feel the same love for each other as they did before, do the people I mentioned above not in love then?

Can someone help me understand this?

Sorry, I can't tell you about military Families. However, when I first met my husband we spent every waking moment together that we could. I was in The Philppines on a mission trip and he lived in the Philippines at that time. The time came when I had to come back to America. We were seperated for 10 months, and I have to tell you that the longer we were apart, the more I knew He was the one I wanted to be with my entire life.. Our bond grew stronger with seperation, not weaker. Maybe we are one in a million, maybe we are special, I don't think so. If you really look deep to that love you felt for the person when you were together, then you will see that the seperation will end one day, and you will be together again.

The greatest book in the world defines love.

I Corinthians 13:4-8
4Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.

5It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.

6Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.

7It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

8Love never fails.

Hope this helps you.

I've been doing long distance now for 6 years. You either learn to deal with the less time or you don't. It's entirely up to you. If you don't learn to deal, it will be over.

Sometimes life sucks. Thats the way of life.
