i have decided to be a cowgirl this year and i don't exactly know what to wear. I have thought of wearing denim pants, white tank top and a denim vest. for my hair will be in 2 braids, and i have a cowgirl hat and brown boots. any suggestions?

Jean mini skirt w/the white tank and boots. You could just wear the chaps w/no pants...LOL. Leave the vest off...thats old cowboy. Even a long skirt w/boots and a cowboy hat. There are many cowboy looks. You have the sexy look that is w/short skirts, daisy duke shorts, tank tops, or skin tight jeans. The reason for tight jeans is less friction when riding not so much as a sexy look, just happened to turn out that way. Woohoo! Then theres the sophisticated cowgirl look w/long skirts or twill pants w/boots and hat. And of course the traditional cowgirl and this has the working look or the show look. Typically this is w/jeans, chaps, top, hat and hair pulled back. Dont forget the belts and buckles or spurs. Yeehaw!

Well.. a white tank top is not very cowgirl-ish. I'd go with a long sleeve button down shirt and don't forget the belt.

im being a cowgirrl forr halloween too ! so heres what im going to do: shorts/ or denims brown belt boots a plaid blouse ( ideally tied ) braids and perchance a cowgirl hat ! goodLuck(:

What you have described is really cute. However, you could tweak it a bit and go as a rodeo queen. Then you could wear rhinestones, tiara on your cowboy hat and a sash.
