I could not afford my birth control pills a few months ago so of course I didn't take them. About 4 weeks into my no pill days, I realized that I plain felt better. I didn't have the bloating and pain I always suffered with while taking the pill, I wasn't irritable and I was happier. I went back on the pill last week and my body does not feel well again. I feel heavy, I'm more sensitive/touchy (o.k. BITCHY) and my lower belly hurts. I was wondering if anyone else experienced a change in mood/health when going off the pill. I don't want anymore children, but I don't like the way the pill makes me feel. Any suggestions?

Yup, it happened to me. I got dumped twice by men who could not stand the ***** I became as soon as I went on the pill! There are lots of birth control methods that don't mess up your hormones - try something different. You still need birth control unless you and your husband later decide you want a baby, but any other method is better than being in a bad mood 24/7!

Its simply your body style, many people improve while on the pill but obiously this is not your case, I would recommend trying a different kind of birth control, why not??

I dont take the pill because im so moody I cant stand myself, the birth control patch seems to work for me, I havnt noticed any side effects and its easier to remember.
