My foreskin is loose and seems to be too much for my penis. Are there other guys that have this? Is it normal? When I'm hard it seems to be okay, tight and can be retracted to pull back easily.

The foreskin is supposed to be loose and cover the glans (head) of the penis. In some guys it's shorter so the glans isn't completely covered, in others there's enough foreskin that it hangs over beyond the glans a little. In some guys it retracts by itself all the way when the penis is erect, in others it still covers the entire glans. This is all normal. As long as you can retract it all the way when erect easily and without pain, then you should have nothing to worry about. If it works, don't worry about it.

In some boys, part of the foreskin shrinks in puberty, and the head of the penis is only just covered when flaccid, or partly exposed. In others, there is a lot more foreskin left. Yours sounds perfectly normal. As you note, everything is working properly when you are erect.

That is the prepuce, also known as foreskin in case you haven't noticed. Maybe you should ask the doctor the next time you get a check-up? Hey, you're old enough to ask, you might as well know, it ain't fun getting it snipped off now.
