I think what you're saying is that Bush's approval rating has stopped its downward spiral because some Republicans who originally supported him then changed their minds, have once again changed back again to a position of support.
Is that correct?

Maybe I missed something, but that doesn't make any sense. If Republicans stopped supporting him, wouldn't the numbers go down?

He who has the most money, wins. That old adage is sad, but true. Those with money either bulldoze those that don't or, in an effort to attempt to get ahead, the rest follow like A flock of sheep.I wonder how long it will take them to realize, that like the flock of sheep, they are being led to slaughter?

No, I would hope there are enough virtuous people in the country to continue to stand up to bullies like Bush and the Republicans.

These are tough times we live in and Bush has had to make some tough decisions to rise to these challenges. His favorability numbers ebb and flow, as with most Presidents in their second term in office.
I fault his low support to our society who wants everything to be perfect but unwilling to make sacrifices to do make it that way.
Here's my prediction: Bush will eventually be heralded as one of the greatest and most influential leaders of our century and will be credited with helping to bring about democracy and freedom to many countries without it before his term.
