Go for a walk, have a pedicure and/or manicure, get a massage, take a warm bath, talk to your best friend about what's bothering you, make a list of positives in your life to remind you of the good things, call in sick and spend the day doing the things you like best

Pet a dog or cat.

Exercise in any form.

Read a book.

Clean the house. This doesn't work for me, exactly, but cleaning the kitchen does, because I don't have to think about where things go. They just go where they go.

Careful choice of music.

Go to a movie.

Depending on your age and status, you can *ahem* exercise with your significant other / spouse.

Primal scream. Go outside, raise your lips to the sky and howl like a wolf. This isn't a good choice in the inner city, perhaps.

Get a backrub / massage. Or give one. I find both to be relaxing.

I like to drop stress by going on a motorcycle ride on curvy roads.

Engage in any hobbies you may have -- make a puzzle, paint something, knit a horrid sweater for your mom's dog....
