The U.S.A. has declared communism as "bad" because, their economy is a Capitalist one, cares more about the money, for example if you can't pay for a hospital or a medicine, you die. So communism is consider a threat to their economy. Also the U.S.A. has taken a lot of resources from countries like Venezuela, Colombia and Argentina by tricking the elections and putting a corrupt president who sells oil to them practicly free while people in the country are dying from hunger.
I am Venezuelan, so I have seen this.
Also, actually Venezuela is turning into a Socialist Democratic country.
I know I will get a lot of thumbs down because all U.S.A. people will feel offended, but it's the truth, or at least in what I beleive.
Edit: :-)thanks, I didn't knew that there was a boycott, I just looked for it and found it.
Thanks!

It doesn't work.
Communism (in theory, any way) takes all the product of a person's labor, and distributes them to everyone else according to their need, and expects each person to perform to the best of their ability. And someone else decides what you need, not you. There's no incentive to work hard, because you get no extra reward for doing so.
Capitalism says that the person who risks money, time, etc, by starting a business or investing in someone else's business should get the rewards of that risk. Say you decide to start a restaurant. After 1 year, it's a very popular spot, and people are standing in line to get in for dinner. Would you be upset if someone told you that you have to give up most of the profits, because you only need a 2 bedroom hut to live in?

in theory communism is actually a good form of government
people get equal shares in everything; there is no super rich people nor super poor people
there are no classes in society and like i said every person is equal
as for the people who lead the country i dont know about that but communism is an ideal form of government
however as you put the theory in work, it doesnt work out
for example North Korea; supposedly everyone is equal but communism has made almost everyone equal but poor and the military & government leaders like Jong il Kim(the president) are prosperous because the government and military leaders put the money into making nuclear weapons
it doesnt work because not everyone is willing to be equal which is the main idea of communism: equality in life, status and etc.

If you are in charge of distribuing cars to sixty people, including yourself and you are give 59 of the same car and one red convertible, who do you give the convertible to? Most people would say themselves, and also working the same job your whole life with no hope for improvement results in a bad economy of uninspired workers.

There is no incentive to work hard (other than punishment) and everyone knows that negative reinforcement is no way to reach the highest utilization of a society.

In and of itself, there is nothing wrong with communism. On paper it's a great idea, in practice however it doesn't work out because people are too selfish.

No room for capital expansion or economical growth, lack of self expression, liberty and human rights. The system only contributes to the decline of that society.

Becuase it as never worked when it has been tried. I just piles on more misery for the have nots. Ask a person that has lived in the former USSR. They will tell you how bad it sucked.

Well on paper it sounds good. In practice it doesn't actually work the way it looks on paper.
