It depends on your idea of controversy, whether it's the song itself or the issue which it addresses.
You could probably discuss the Dixie Chicks and their latest single " Not Ready to Make Nice." It's relevant to their on going criticism of the president and the amount of controversy that it has generated.

That Paris Hilton song about when the stars collide...I believe the controversy was over whether or not Paris knew the difference between the stars in the sky or the ones that live around Beverly Hills.
