You will not necessarily miss your first period - but you should miss all the rest of the periods for the 8 months afterward.

It sounds like you are too young to be having sex in the first place if you need to ask a question like this. But no not in all pregnancies do you miss your period for 9 months. And as for what someone else said about not getting your period again right after giving birth. You must have been really blessed then honey. I didn't get my period through my pregnancy but I have heard it more often than I would have thought, of others still getting theirs throughout their pregnancy. I on the other hand bled for 3-4 months straight after giving birth to my son. I have heard that c-sections don't bleed like a period so much afterwards, but vaginal births can bleed a lot but not usually as long as I did afterwards. Then once I stopped the months long period, I went right back to regular periods without the help of birth control pills. I didn't have to worry about getting pregnant again right away because my husband and I waited 6 months after I gave birth to have sex again, I wasn't ready until then.

Yes you do normally stop having periods but not always and if you do you may experience some mild spotting and even some cramps when you normally would have been due on your period then when you have your baby you may bleed for up to 8 weeks after the birth this is not the case with every 1 it may be less or even longer i breast fed my children and bled for this long so don't be fooled into thinking your periods will stop for a long time because they wont. I really think you need to speak to an adult about all this as you seem really unsure of things.

Yes but lots of women experience "spotting" which will usually be darker than your period and last about 12 weeks. If this is the case you should avoid sex during these 12 weeks.

yes but not always as some people can have their periods all the 9 months and not even have any symptons or even showing, you are obviously very young and maybe shouldnt be having sex till you are ready, speak to the family planning and they will give you advice on sex, pregnancy, stds etc....

i happen to know there are rare instances where some pregnant women still have their period for like 3 months, that's why pregnancy was not detected. but generally most pregnant women do not have period.

yes you will miss all your periods til the baby is born. if you breastfeed after the baby is born you may not have any during that time either.
with my second child i breast fed so i didn't have my period for the 9 months of pregnancy, then for the 16 months that i breast fed.
