Have new neighabors who cut all the underbrush away from the forest in their yard, they also leave the spotlight on all night. My bedroom is now lit up like a christmas tree, and they can see into my room, and now i can see into their kitchen and family room, help I need some privacy. I need some help with window tinting, or a dark window screen, any ideas?

I already have blinds and curtins, but it would be nice to not have to keep them shut all the time

Ok this is going to be a little expensive...but in the long run, you'll be happy and this will add value to your home. Get vinyl plantation shutters - don't get wood cause they're wayyyy too expensive. Besides wood over years, depending if your room faces the sun...in the evenings, will warp the wood. Vinyl is strong and will last you for years to come. Don't do curtains, you'll just have to take those down every year and have them professionally cleaned. With plantation shutters...just put a little water on them and wipe away.

If you go that route...get the 4 inch and not the 2 inch.

best bet is curtains ( any tint that is dark enough to help will prevent you seeing out at all and the same for screens - blinds are an option but must fit VERY well or the little leaks will drive you nuts ) if you don't care about the view at all then paint the window ! ( note that paint is much more durable than any tint )

if you must use a tint then look for LIMO level tinting at a auto tinting place or apply multiple layers of a lighter shade
