The most notorious serial killers have not been "Goths". You would have to give me some cold, hard, facts and a whole lotta proof before I would believe your above statement!
Sociopaths are the only ones that have sociopathic tendencies, and they can come in any gender, size, or form. You can't judge a person by their outside appearance.

That has got to be one of the biggest steriotypes I know. I don't believe they have anymore chance of becoming a serial killer than anyone else. They just express themselves in a way that society deems "different". Society needs to quit stereotyping. Think about all of the serial killers.......now.....How many of them were goth???? None that I can think of. Does that answer your question? (by the way, I'm not goth) I think they are very creative and intellegent people. They are some of the nicest people I have ever met.I have never been judged by someone who was goth. They tend to be more openminded than a lot of people that I know.

I doubt Goths are even fractionally more likely to become serial killers than any other specific genre of music fan base. What a pile of pants.
100% of all the Goths I've ever known are pretty average people...(and most of them will find it insulting that I dared to call them average, I do hope they don't come round and murder me in my bed tonight...).

omg no...goths arent all bad you know, they want to be different..but that doesnt mean they're killers..usually a goth has problems at home or something has happened in their past that really messed them up...or so i like to think...and some goths arent even really gothic...they just like the style. and how would that expert know anyways unless he was a goth or something...its not like a goth is just going to come out and say yeah i'm goth and i have sociopathic tendencies...geez cmon now lol

I think that most Goths are nice people, just a little stranger looking than the average person.

ALL people are potentially serial killers. You just
need the right set of circumstances and triggers.
I think you need to be very careful throwing around
those statistics - sociopathy is not one unified
phenomenon, and the tendancy to shun society
is not the same as to destroy it.
In short, I don't believe the statistic you are quoting
is appropriate.

No. I met two and they didn't have a urge to murder anyone. That expert is a idiot. He/She can't be a expert. I have a little goth in my personality. Don't listen to this so called expert anymore.

No- I think they are les likely to become serial killers because they don't give in to the pressures of society and instead do what they want.

Nope, no way! That is just a stereotype! Most serial killers are loners, which could be almost anyone, depending on their level of social skills.
