Hey big flag there. He doesn't want to work !!!! Unless you are happy to be the bread winner in this one then by all means go and move in. But if you want it to be a 50/50 deal I would cut the ties and move on. He sounds like a bum to me. Good luck.

Leave. He doesn't like to work, and all he does is smoke with his friends.
Plus, if he WANTED to move in with you, he'd be doing it now that your house is finished, not "in a few months."
Move on, do you really want to be with someone like that?
