No... but if you call the police and tell them someone is illegally parked in front of your mailbox, they could do something about it.
I'd also talk to the condo association office about getting that stretch of road designated a no parking zone due to the mail issue, or have the mailbox moved.
I think the sign will not work because people will ignore it just like ignoring the mailboxes themselves.

Break a bunch of glass bottle in the parking space.
Mailmen (and ladies) are above the law. They are not tampering with your mail by not delivering it to a blocked mailbox. This is a landlord / tenant issue. If you rent, inform the landlord then the monkey is on his back. If you own, this is a parking zone issue. Inform the zoning commission in your area.
You can complain to the post office, but the last thing you want to do is piss off your mail person!

No, I dont think that will work. When you see a car parked there, you should call the police to have the car ticketed. Also, ask your police department if you get the tag # of the vehicles doing this will they talk to that person and advise if they do it, again, they will get a ticket. Also, complain to your city or county government so that they will have the police patrol your neighorhood to enforce no parking in front of the mail boxes. Believe me, the federal government cannot stop people from parking in front of mailboxes, only your city or county government can

Call the police and have them issue a warning. It is illigal to block the mailbox or access to it. Then if they don't comply, they will be issued a sitation....Good Luck.
By the way..Tampering with the mail..is a Federal Offense.

No. Check with the local police to see if there are any violations. If so, arrange to have the cars towed. Report the problem to the condo owners assocation. Maybe you can get them to set up parking lot curbs in front of the mail box.
I live in a condo myself. People who park in front of our mail box get their cars "keyed." I never did that, though.

call the local police, please use the non emergancy number, find out if it is illegal too park there. as for the sign , i would say no because come cities forbid posting signs unless its on your property. also you may try contacting the postmaster for your town/city/area it may jsut be an issue of the postman not doing his/her job. the postmaster may also be able to have the mailboxes moved or even be able too do something about the persons parking there such as tickets fines impoundments. the police are more likely too actually do something when someone with some authority is involved.

I dont know where you live, but you should check your local laws, some places have laws againt parking in front of mailboxes. If they do, call the city. Maybe they will tow the car, then that person will know not to park there.

You should put a sign there, but thats a false claim, saying that its considered tampering with mail, that I don't recomend that. But I'd say posting a sign is your best bet, OR you could always have the car towed.

A sign won't work. Call a tow truck and have the car towed. Once or twice of doing this and they won't park there anymore.
